Initiate, coordinate, and manage all investigational and evaluation activities associated with professional and general liability occurrences and claim pre-litigation matters. Negotiate resolution with authority from Administrative Director, Risk Management. Provide preventative risk management assessment of processes, procedures, and programs, including inservice education, consultation, liaison activities, and on-call emergency assistance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with a current North Carolina RN license. Five years experience in healthcare required. Background in nursing or business administration combined with appropriate hospital experience required. Experience in loss prevention, claims and/or safety management preferred.
