Provides direct patient care while working under the supervision of a Nurse Supervisor utilizing skills as outlined

in the scope of practice by the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Facility Services and NC Board of Nursing.



Nursing Assistant Level II certification required. AHA BLS required.

Blended Care team –



This care team model provides partners in care with RNs, LPNs, patient care assistants and care concierges. This model allows each clinician to practice at the top of their scope while providing opportunity for professional growth and development.



1st surgical is a 27-bed general surgical unit which provides patient focused care to a general surgical population with a emphasis on the bariatric surgical patients. Early recovery after surgery is a critical part of the care delivery here
