 The Cardiac Specialty Unit (CSU) is an intermediate cardiac unit specializing in pre- and post-procedural care. This includes patients with NSTEMI or active chest pain requiring cardiac interventions, electrophysiology abnormalities treated with ICD's or radiofrequency ablations. We manage dysrhythmias through administration and titration of cardiac drips. Nurses actively participate in bedside procedures and manage arterial access devices.
